Let’s Journey Home with Kindred Stamps!

Green card using the witch from Kindred Stamps Journey Home.

Journey Home Card 1

I have been having so much fun creating with Journey Home by Kindred Stamps. I created this Happy New Year card for Craft Roulette episode #248. It includes the following parameters:

Project: Tags (Happy New Year sentiment)
Colors: Disney (Cinderella & Tiana)
Element: January (New Year starts in January)
Random: Branch (inside of the card has a witch holding a broom handle made from a branch!)

I created the inside sentiment in Canva and printed it on cardstock using my home printer. I then used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out. This is definitely something that I want to do more of in the new year. What an easy and fun way to personalize the insides of my cards. Let me know if you would like a video on how to do this.

Of course, now I look at this and think that it could use some foil…LOL! I do NOT need to add another machine to my craft room!!!

Journey Home Card 2

I used the Kindred Stamps Journey Home set again to participate in the Just One Color hop on Instagram. As you may have guessed, the color was green! For extra credit, we had to include circles. I love this glitter paper from Close To My Heart that I used on both of the cards. I also feel that I improved in my coloring between the first and second time I colored this witch. Although, the second time, I had to go back to using the Tri-Blend markers as my OLO greys were leaking all over. I seriously need to do some research to find out how I can make that stop…it’s very frustrating. If you have any ideas, please share them in the comments.
