Exploring the Frisky Side of Space with Kindred Stamps Space Smut

Space Smut Blog Cover

As a longtime Kindred Stamps fan, I’m excited to share that I am officially a member of the Design Team! This has been a dream come true, and I hope to inspire you to craft your fandom using Kindred Stamps. Please note that I will use affiliate links whenever possible at no additional cost to you. These links help support me if you use them to make a purchase. They also let the companies I love know that I’m sending business their way, so hopefully they keep me on the design team!

The Kindred Stamps June Release is filled with a variety of stamps, dies, and papers, but I was lucky enough to get the Space Smut sentiment stamps that pair perfectly with Space Explorers and The Next Space Explorers. For those of you who have been around my socials for a bit, you know I use these sets a LOT! I love that the Space Smut sentiments add a little frisky humor to my favorite stamp sets.

Space Smut cards from the Kindred Stamps 2026 June Release

Let’s take a closer look at each project!

Beam Me Up Hottie Shutter Card

My first project is a fun A2 shutter card that looks impressive on the inside but was really easy to make. I created a basic gate fold card and decorated the front with an evening scene from the Galactic Paper collection. I colored the ship and character from Space Explorers and added a banner with the sentiment.  The ship is adhered with a belly band that slides off so the card can be opened.

The inside shutter mechanism reveals the “My Prime Directive tonight is you” sentiment and another cute character from Space Explorers. The Galactic paper gives the illusion of warping through space.  Let me know in the comments if you are interested in a shutter card tutorial. I know I want to make more of these cards!

Mission Log Window Card

The next card was actually created from a mistake that I made with my first card. I wanted the shutter window to have a larger opening, so I cut a wider inside panel. I didn’t account for the shutter mechanism, so quickly learned that was not going to work. Good news is that I was able to use the wider panel on the front of this card. I used the Card Basics die set to add a window into the card base so that the “attractive lifeforms” would still be visible when the card opened to reveal the sentiment that makes me giggle every time, “Be Long and Prosper”!

Space Smut Quick Card #1

For The Next Space Explorers fans, never fear, those cute characters are included in the Space Explorers Ephemera pack, too. As much as I love coloring the characters, there are times when I want to create something cute but am short on time. This is when I allow the paper, ephemera, and sentiment to do the work for me!

Space Smut Quick Card #2

My final card for the release was the easiest of all. I simply added a panel from the Pride Paper Collection to the card base, heat embossed the sentiment in Snowfall on black cardstock, and adhered the characters using varying foam tape thickness.

I had so much fun creating these cards with the new Space Smut stamp set and the Space Explorers Ephemera from the Kindred Stamps June Release. These sentiments are perfect when you want to get frisky with a partner or give your space loving friends a giggle.
