Farewell to Studio J…for now?!
On May 16, 2016, my last Studio J order arrived. I posted this photo on Instagram to commemorate this sad day. I was able to commiserate with many fellow Studio J fans at the loss of our beloved digital program. Yet, I don’t believe that all hope is lost. I had a really nice conversation with COO Brian Holman at Convention where I learned that a digital option is not off the table, they simply are going to take their time in determining the best fit for Close To My Heart. Until then, I’m going to get my digi-fix by designing and sharing Cricut Design Space files!
What follows is archived content…I can’t bring myself to let it go!
STUDIO J ~ YOU’VE TAKEN THE PHOTOS. NOW KEEP THE MEMORIES.™
May I let you in on a little secret? I wasn’t excited about Studio J when it was first announced at convention in 2009. Hard to believe, right?! At the time, I thought it might be good for some people, but I didn’t really see myself turning into a digital scrapbooker. That was before I tried it! Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m a die-hard classic scrapper, but Studio J makes scrapbooking faster and easier than I ever thought possible. My crop bag (aka laptop) is always packed, and I don’t have a mess to clean up after scrapbooking. So, after that initial lackluster response, I now scrapbook at least 90% of my layouts with Studio J! As a result, I’m scrapbooking more and recording memories that would have been lost had I not found Studio J. Plus, when I sit down with my classic supplies, I don’t feel the need to rush; I can simply enjoy the memories and create a beautiful work of art to tell my story. Studio J has given me the best of both worlds!
FSE = Faster. Simpler. Easier.®
At Close To My Heart, our mission is to “show you how to celebrate relationships through discovering your creativity, to preserve and share the moments that matter most.” This FSE method of memory keeping is what made me fall in love with Studio J! In no time, you will create a FREE account. It’s simple–you only pay for the layouts you want to purchase, and there is no software to download or kits to buy. You may use Studio J as a true design studio with your classic supplies and never make a purchase…it’s that easy. Of course, if you are anything like me, you’ll see how FSE it is and you’ll be hooked. Get started by watching the following series of beginner videos.
(Let me apologize in advance for the poor quality of the audio in video #1. It was my first attempt to create a video in 2010…I did get much better!)
Is Studio J right for you?!
